STATE OF CONNECTICUT
TEMORARY MORTGAGE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (T-MAP)

The CT Housing Finance Authority, with financial support from the State of CT, has launched a homeowner assistance program for low and moderate households in CT who are struggling to pay their mortgages due to the impact of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Up to $25,000 in the form of a 2nd Mortgage. Must pass a threshold eligibility tested (120% Area Median Income)

STATE OF CONNECTICUT
TEMPORARY RENTAL HOUSING ASSISTANCE PROGRAM (TRHAP)

1. Applicants must pass threshold eligibility, complete an application and provide verification documentation.
2. Initial priority for assistance is targeted towards households who have been denied unemployment assistance from the Department of Labor.
3. If you are unemployed/under employed and have not filed for unemployment assistance do so.
4. Make every attempt to remain in contact with your landlord and make rental payments.
5. Call 1-860-785-3111 or visit https://portal.ct.gov/doh to be qualified and obtain additional information.

OPERATION FUEL

Operation Fuel has launched an online “Public Access” application, for clients who need aid with meeting their home energy needs (electricity, gas and deliverable fuels).  It is for households living up to 75% of state median income.  There is no assets test. The Sharon Social Services Office is still an authorized “Operation Fuel Hub” with authority to input and process applications.
