Open Burning permits are available for 30 day periods & are still free of charge.

Either the property owner or a representative may obtain a permit to burn brush only.

The guidelines are listed on the permits issued.

The State of Connecticut issues the Forest Fire Index & those with a permit must abide by their rules.

Those with a valid permit are to call (860)364-0909 each day they are burning.

It is imperative that all fires are out by 5 PM.
